Empowering Chattanooga by addressing homelessness, reducing educational disparities, and boosting voter registration
Through advocacy, support services, and educational initiatives, we strive to create a more equitable society where every person has access to stable housing, quality education, and the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
Our CEO, Alisha Chandra is driven by a lifelong commitment to giving back, has dedicated herself to empowering communities and addressing social inequalities. From her early involvement in Global Excel, a program aimed at bridging computer literacy gaps among inner-city students, to her family's longstanding commitment to providing meals to the unhoused at Chattanooga's Community Kitchen for 15 years. Alisha has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of community support.
Alisha has embarked on her latest endeavor: 'Empower to Motivate Community Change.' Through this project, Alisha aims to address the underlying causes of homelessness, educational disparities and expand voter registration while fostering a sense of empowerment and motivation within communities. By leveraging education, advocacy, and grassroots initiatives, she seeks to create lasting change and build a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
